Located on the eastern border of the Maranoa on the Warrego Highway, Yuleba is a friendly country town. Yuleba acts as a service centre for the area, which has a strong agricultural industry.
A 60km drive east of Roma on the Warrego Highway, Yuleba is well on the way to Toowoomba and only 209km west of Dalby (centre of the neighbouring Western Downs region).
Key Industry Sectors
Like many towns throughout the Maranoa region, Yuleba’s economy, and the livelihood of its residents, is determined by the performance of the agricultural industry. One third of the workforce in the area is employed in the agricultural industry, producing commodities such as sheep, cattle and grain. The town is also home to commercial premises, government services, hotel/motel, sporting and recreational facilities and primary school.
Jackson & Noonga
Jackson is the Maranoa’s first town when travelling into the region from the east. Jackson and nearby Noonga feature prime cattle grazing land and grain and forage cropping.
