Facilitated by QAGOMA learning staff, the discussion seeks to stimulate engagement with regional galleries, strengthen state-wide advocacy for arts education, and identify research opportunities to evidence innovation.
The community-based Queensland art education roundtable is set up to explore the following four concepts:
Digital Learning: utilising technology to enhance informal and formal education
Cultural Learning: learning through and about culture, your own or another’s
Arts Learning: transforming abstract ideas into tangible outcomes through arts processes
Art and Wellbeing: enhancing access to, and the social impact of the arts on individuals and communities.
