This FREE workshop will be delivered over two days and facilitated by two highly experienced boxing coaches from Saturday, 18 August to Sunday, 19 August.
Aimed at youth under 21 years of age and local boxing trainers, the sessions will be held at Maranoa PCYC in Roma from 9am – 4pm each day. Please bring $2 for lunch.
Participants will learn:
- Stance, balance and footwork
- Correct punching and hand wrapping
- How to train and rest correctly
- Diet and nutrition
One of the coaches is Paul "Hurricane" Briggs - an Australian boxer is highly ranked in the light heavyweight division. Former 2 x World Champion in Muay Thai and 5 x World Title Challenger 109F, 97W, 2D, 10L and 56KO. His life moto is: "know self, know others, correct self, transform others, master self, elevate others and serve all."
