Join us for Harmony Day on Sunday, 19 March in Roma for a fun family day out!
Commencing at 3.30pm at Lions Park in Roma, the event will be a chance for the community to share its unique cultures.
There will be exciting multicultural performances, food and activities for adults and kids alike!
Councillor Janelle Stanford, Portfolio Chair for Community & Social Services said diversity in the Maranoa is what makes our
region a fantastic place to live.
“With many different cultures living and working in the Maranoa, what better way to celebrate our community then with a day
full of family fun!” Cr Stanford said.
“Also a great way to show respect and gratitude to those that make our country what it is today, I encourage everyone to
come along and celebrate.”
Council is looking for community members to get involved on the day to share their culture.
Whether it is showing your traditional dress, performing a song or preparing some food, please contact Council’s Community
Support Officer on 1300 007 662 if you can help on the day.
