Maranoa volunteers are always looking for friendly faces to join our Visitor Information Centres across the region.
Volunteering is a great way to give back to the local community and a fantastic opportunity to meet new people.
Maranoa volunteers meet and greet tourists, provide local knowledge and offer travelling advice - whilst giving back to the community!
All ages are welcome to apply; our team comes from a variety of backgrounds - students, retirees, young professionals, mums and dads alike. Not only a chance to gain personal rewards, volunteering can also be great experience for future employment.
Maranoa volunteers can dedicate as little or as much time as they would like in the Roma, Injune, Surat and Wallumbilla Visitor Information Outlets. All training is provided.
If interested in volunteering at a Visitor Information Centre, or in another capacity, please contact Council’s Tourism – Co-ordinator by calling 1300 007 662.
