Council receives funding for new bores in Surat and Yuleba and wants your feedback

The Maranoa Water Supply Security, Surat and Yuleba Township Project funding includes two new bores, one in Surat and the other in Yuleba.

The Australian Government boosted the Drought Communities Programme Extension by $128 million in November 2019, and Maranoa Regional Council received $1 million to support our community during this severe drought event.

Planning for these works is now underway and Council would like the community's feedback. Yuleba and Surat residents will be sent further information about the proposed new bore sites which will also be available on Council's website.

Surat and Yuleba residents are able to provide their feedback by returning their survey form or by completing an online survey here.

The feedback period is open now and will close on Monday, 22 June 2020 at 5pm.
