The Maranoa Liveability Strategy was commissioned in 2019 to inform Council about the region's population sustainability and provide suggestions for retention and growth. The research also details strengths and weaknesses associated with liveability and employment.
Mayor Tyson Golder encourages residents to review the research findings and submit their feedback.
"Input from residents is vitally important because they live in our region and can identify strengths and weaknesses firsthand," Mayor Golder said.
"Our goal is to increase the liveability of the Maranoa for existing residents and to attract people beyond our region to make the Maranoa home".
Residents have until Monday, 19 October 2020 to submit their feedback. All feedback received will be presented and considered at an upcoming Council Meeting.
