Community groups are encouraged to submit their applications until Monday, 1 October 2018.
Valued between $500 - $10,000, where 50% of the total project is funded by sources other than Council, the Community Grant can help fund one-off projects, events and activities throughout the region.
Some tips for application success:
- Discuss your project and application with your Local Development Officer
- Organise support letters and documentation early
- Submit your application early and ask for feedback
- Answer all questions and sign where required.
Successful projects in the past have included coaching and training clinics, much needed equipment and entertainment for events.
