Council announces successful Community Grants

Councillor Cameron O'Neil, Portfolio Chair for Economic Development said Council is committed to supporting community groups across the region through Community Grants and non-financial assistance.

"It is great to see so many amazing community groups with initiatives and events throughout the Maranoa," Cr O'Neil said.

Jon Hacker from Muckadilla TopCrop Group said the small group is thrilled to be receiving a Community Grant for 2018.

"The grant will enable us to bring top quality speakers and displays for our second big field day scheduled for 16 March, 2018. For a small committee, this grant will lighten the load and help us pull together a successful event at 'Maree Downs' for the benefit of mixed farmers across the Maranoa," said Mr Hacker.
