Maranoa youngsters set to skate into the school holidays with an exciting program line-up!

Young people will be in for a treat with a variety of things to do, such as learning how to skateboard, laser skirmish, arts and craft activities, tennis clinics, NAIDOC activities and much more!

The activities and events run from Saturday, 30 June – Sunday, 15 July 2018.

Councillor Peter Flynn, Portfolio Chair for Youth said every year the holiday program allows youngsters throughout the region to enjoy their school holidays with a variety of activities.

"A majority of these action packed activities are free, with a focus this year on getting out and about with an exciting skate boarding workshop as well as a number of NAIDOC week inspired events!" Cr Flynn said.

"I encourage parents to check the holiday program in their town and organise your holiday to help keep the boredom blues away."

As well as activities run by Council and other community groups, parents can also take advantage of the many public facilities across the region including skate parks, playgrounds, libraries and sporting fields to keep their children active and entertained this winter.
