Maranoa Mayor Tyson Golder is encouraging the broader regional community to provide feedback on the development of the South West Hospital and Health Service Plan.
Feedback can be provided by attending the Community Forum tomorrow - Thursday, 5 May 2016 (8.30am registration for a 9am start until 11am) at the Roma Cultural Centre, Bungil Street Roma.
Cr Tyson Golder said the forum provides residents with an important opportunity to have input into the district’s health service for the next 10 years.
“As this forum is providing residents with a chance to share views on current and future health service requirements and priorities for our region, I encourage all residents to participate,” Cr Golder said.
“During this feedback period, I will be bringing up the need this community has for providing better quality services for residents fighting serious diseases.
“As we want our residents to be able to access as many quality health services here in the region as possible, now is the time to provide your views.”
To RSVP to attend the community forum, email Roma-Hosp-EA@health.qld.gov.au or phone 4624 2840.
This engagement is being undertaken by South West Hospital and Health Service in collaboration with the Western Queensland Primary Health Network.
