The project includes a 135m section of new PVC fencing along Chrystal Street and continues along Lewis Street South to the cemetery's main entrance.
Councillor Geoff McMullen, Portfolio Chair for Towns & Surrounds said the project replaced a section of fence that was badly deteriorated.
"Maranoa Regional Council is committed to maintaining and improving Maranoa's important sites, like the Roma Cemetery," Cr McMullen said.
"The Roma Cemetery is a special and sacred place to visit and to remember our loved ones. It is a strong part of Roma's history and these improvements aim to pay tribute to the significance of the site."
