The meetings have seen 23 keen residents come together to discuss improvements, including a new watering system, new garden beds and repairs, as well as the garden's overall design.
Councillor Janelle Stanford, Portfolio Chair for Community and Social Services said it is great to see so many people interested and willing to lend a helping hand to get the garden going again.
"The Roma Community Garden is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and help out a community group, all while getting your hands dirty and growing some tasty veggies!" Cr Stanford said.
"Thank you to all of the local businesses who are supporting the Community Garden this year – groups like these could not thrive without your support."
The Roma Community Garden Committee is always looking for new members ($15 to become a member and $30 for a plot).
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 1 August at 5pm at the Community Garden with anyone welcome to attend with more information regarding the date for the first working bee of the year to come.
