The ex State of Origin player and now entrepreneur will speak in Surat, Mitchell, Wallumbilla and Injune / Bymount next month!
Billy became part of the State of Origin team in 1992 and retired from the game in 1999 at the age of 28. From then, Billy made a successful move investing in the hospitality industry. He is now a small business entrepreneur and has owned and managed restaurants since 2001.
Councillor Cameron O'Neil Portfolio Chair for Events said this event has been made possible by funding from the Queensland Government to support residents who are dealing with the ongoing drought.
"Events like these bring the community together for a fun filled night, so bring your friends and family and enjoy a free dinner and night with one of Queensland's greatest sporting legends," Cr O'Neil said.
Billy Moore will be visiting the Maranoa on the following dates:
- Surat - Tuesday, 9 October 2018
6.30pm at Surat Hall (child minding available).
- Mitchell – Wednesday, 10 October 2018
6pm at Mitchell Hall.
- Wallumbilla – Thursday, 11 October 2018
6pm at Wallumbilla Hall (child minding available).
- Injune / Bymount – Friday, 12 October 2018
6.30pm at the Pinnacle Campdraft, Orallo Road, via Bymount.
This is a free event that is available for the whole family. Dinner will be provided at no cost and a community group run bar will be available for drink purchases. RSVPs are required for catering purposes by Wednesday, 3 October. No RSVPs required for the Pinnacle event.
